Our serials are intentionally inconsistent to prevent fraudulent replication, but we do have some key tips. -Our Serial #’s on Rascal and Rail frames almost always start with “WH0”, have 4 lines of digits, and include the size letter abbreviation, “S” “M” “L” or “XL” at the start of the 4th line. -“WH01” denotes a Rail frame -“WH02” denotes a Rascal frame -Ranger Serials will almost always have a size letter abbreviation (“S” “M” “L” or “XL” ) at the very end, with not much in the way of patterns for the remaining digits. -Revel Frames will also have a QR code on the bottom of the BB for the serial #. |

NUMBERS THAT ARE NOT A SERIAL NUMBER
We want to make sure you are aware of the many potential numbers you
may see on your bike. These numbers are commonly mistaken for serial numbers
ISO numbers
Are an international industry safety standard designation that the frame is in compliance with.

EN numbers
European Standards (EN) are standards that have been ratified by one of the 3 European Standards Organizations, CEN, CENELEC or ETSI.
DAMAGED OR ILLEGIBLE SERIAL NUMBERS
The final check box of our Declaration of Ownership states that a legible serial number is present on the bike.
- All SYB purchases are registered with nationwide databases used to prevent theft and identify stolen property. Bikes registered without legible serial numbers are less likely to be identified by law enforcement and returned to their rightful owners.
- Bikes without legible serial numbers will require proof of purchase but may still be returned at our discretion.
PROOF OF PURCHASE
In some cases, we may require proof of purchase in order to buy your bike.
The proof of purchase must be from an authorized dealer or direct from the manufacturer and have:
